Portfolio Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager/Property Representative to join our team at @home Property Management in Launceston, TAS. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of residential properties and ensuring the highest standards of service for our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Effectively managing the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of rental properties, including processing applications, coordinating inspections, and overseeing maintenance and repairs
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with property owners, tenants, and tradespeople
• Ensuring all properties are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
• Conducting regular property inspections and providing comprehensive condition reports
• Assisting with the marketing and leasing of vacant properties (we have letting consultants who attend inspections)
• Effectively resolving any tenant disputes or issues that may arise
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all property-related activities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a property management or real estate role, ideally within the residential sector
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• A thorough understanding of relevant property legislation and regulations
• Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant technology
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
