We can confirm that the Tasmanian Government has extended the COVID-19 pandemic emergency period to 30 September 2020. This means some protections initially put in place for residential tenants during the pandemic, and due to expire on 30 June 2020, are now extended for a further 90 days.

There have been some amendments including the option for our office to recommence routine inspections after 30th June as long as we follow strict health measures which we will naturally adhere to.

It is important to understand that we are not able to attend inspections if the tenant/s are isolating or if they advise us that they have symptoms. We will however reschedule within 14 days if this is the case to conduct the inspection.
